At American Heartland Cabins we find we are living our dream of owning our own business in this wonderful country. So we are making a few adjustments to how we do business. For starters we are now recycling in each cabin and cottage. All the alluminum cans will be cashed in and all the proceeds will be given to the Wounded Warriors Project. We hope this enhances our devotion to our Military Service Men and Women. We have for years offered a discount to all active military. This is an all year around discount. Hocking Hills Wildlife is amazing to discover. From the mallards, hawks, osprey, herons, swans, eagles, cardinals, to the white tail deer, turkeys, turtles, and beavers. This is only a small list of what you will discover as you wonder through the Hocking Hills. coming upon God's creatures is very exciting.
The homes of our wildlife make for another adventure. You have so many species of wildflowers, trees, and plant life. The summer foliage is lush with too many shades of green to count. The Fall shows a beauty that looks like our Hocking Hills are on fire, The reds, yellows, and oranges are so brilliant they will take your breath away. Ahhh, but Winter is the season to really appreciateour Hocking Hills. With the foliage gone, you can view the rocks and cliffs on every hillside.
